Audits provide independent and objective evaluations of processes against a known standard and plans. Audits can provide an objective view of compliance and noncompliance in addition to recommendations for improvement for preventive action. IQ-Partners has RAB Certified Lead Auditors, TL 9000, QS 9000, AS 9000 auditors, TickIT trained auditors and SEI CMM trained assessors. IQ-Partners consultants have completed training on the ISO 9000 year 2000 changes and can perform a GAP analysis of your current quality system and develop a plan to transition to the new standard. Audit Process

Depending on the type of audit IQ-Partners has the right auditors to meet your needs.

Gap Audits - Audits your current system against a known standard. The standard may be an ISO standard, military standard, or other quality standard. The gap audit results provides you with insight as to how far you are from being compliant to the standard your system was audited against. The results can help you plan your steps towards compliance.

Pre-assessment Audits - This audit usually occurs several weeks prior to the scheduled Registrar's Certification Audit. It is performed just like a Registrar's audit to give you and your employees the practice in addition to giving you an objective, 3rd party auditor's assessment of your readiness and ability to pass a Registrar's audit. The results will help you get one step closer to passing the registration audit the first time.

Post Implementation Audits - For many companies, it's not the initial registration assessment that is difficult to pass, but it's the surveillance audits. IQ-Partners can perform Post Implementation Audits to confirm the quality system is still compliant and also make recommendations for further improvements. Post implementation audits are performed like RAB 3rd party registrar audits. This provides you with insight into areas of noncompliance prior to a costly RAB audit in addition to practice for your employees for your surveillance audit.

Documentation Desktop Audits - If you're in the process of developing your quality system and you would like to know if you're on the right tract, IQ-Partners can perform a documentation desktop review before you go too far. Documentation review of your quality documents including policy manuals and procedures to assure the documents are compliant with the corresponding standard. This may be done on-site or off-site, electronically. The desktop audit is for those companies who have just created their documentation and would like an objective review prior to implementing them. This review will save you time and rework since the documentation is the foundation for your processes.

CMM Assessments - IQ-Partners can perform on-site assessment of your software and systems engineering processes against the Capability Maturity Models. These assessments will determine compliance to your current processes to the models and determine which maturity level you have achieved.

Software Quality Audits - These are a series of audits that will evaluate your software development processes throughout the software development lifecycle. It includes review of the planning activities, design reviews, code reviews, and reporting. These audits can also serve as a training exercise for your software quality engineers.

Internal Audits - IQ-Partners can perform your internal audits for you. Internal audits are a requirement of ISO 9000 and sometimes you just cannot get them done. IQ-Partners can fill in that gap and perform all of them or a subset of them.

Supplier Audits - IQ-Partrners can perform your supplier audits. This may include supplier qualification audits and supplier surveilliance audits.
