ISO 9000:1994
ISO 9000:1994 consists of a generic, baseline family of quality standards.
ISO 9001 has the greatest scope, which includes design/development, productions,
installation and servicing and includes twenty elements.
ISO 9002 contains all the requirements of ISO 9001 with the exception of those
related to design.
ISO 9002 consists of nineteen elements.
ISO 9003 is for final inspection and test.
This applies to such companies as distribution or warehousing.
The basic philosophy of the standard is
"Say what you do"
 "Do what you Say"
 "Prove it"
In order to meet the requirements of "Say what you do", ISO 9001 documentation must
be generated.
The documentation includes a quality policy manual, procedures, work instructions
and records.
